Where We Travel
We're based at 216 N Arch St in Royse City, and most of our calls stay close to home. That means Nevada and Union Valley, both about 5 miles out, Josephine at 6 miles, and Lavon and Caddo Mills at 8 miles. We also get out to McLendon-Chisholm and Poetry around the 10-mile mark, and we'll run as far as Quinlan, Heath, Farmersville, St. Paul, West Tawakoni, Lucas, Lowry Crossing, Parker, and Sunnyvale when the job calls for it. Call before you drive out of your way - if you're inside that radius, there's a good chance we're already working near you that week. We don't cover the whole DFW map, and we're not going to pretend we do. Staying close to Royse City means we're not spending half the day on the highway and the other half apologizing for being late. If you're outside this list, it's worth a call anyway - distance isn't always a hard line, it depends on the schedule that day.
Plain Answers
Royse City's housing stock mostly went up between 1971 and 2012, with the median build year sitting around 2000, and that pattern repeats across the 16 named areas we cover. That's a narrower range than a lot of older suburbs, which actually makes our job more predictable - we're not guessing at obsolete hardware from three different eras on the same street. Most doors we open are steel sectional panels on extension or torsion springs from that same 2000s generation, with openers that are either original to the house or a first replacement. The heat here is moderate, not extreme, so we're not dealing with the kind of warping and seal failure you'd see in a harsher climate - but nylon rollers and opener gears still wear out on schedule, and summer is still summer. We'll tell you straight when a spring job is a 20-minute fix and when the whole door is close enough to end-of-life that replacement is the better money. We don't install gates, fences, or fabricate custom wood doors - if that's what you need, we're not your shop.
